- Technician states low on coolant, reservoir is cracked, needs new one and re pressure test to verify any other leaks. Also purge valve is clicking very loudly, Recommend replacing. **Needs- Coolant tank/degas bottle – Purge Valve – After replacing Coolant tank, need to retest (Possible water pump leak and Tech wants to test Head Gaskets, but can't do with cracked tank. Technician States Coolant leak is good. Tech found worse noise as it was idling here, Lifters/ Valve Lash Adjuster noise, would need to pull valve cover to make sure engine isn't slugged up before replacing Valve Adjusters. Recommendations are All Valve Lash Adjusters, Valve Cover Gasket and BG Engine Flush.
