    • Technician found service bulletin for the code P0506, indicating to clean the throttle body, MAF sensor, and perform the TB relearn procedure. We then performed a fuel induction cleaning to further clean out carbon buildup in the intake system. This should help the runability of the vehicle, but it is possible the MAF sensor is faulty (Found bent pin in sensor – did straighten out). Technician also found the ticking noise was an exhaust leak from multiple broken exhaust manifold mounting bolts. Would need to pull manifolds, drill out broken bolts, and install new hardware.

    • THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY – Remove & Replace – [Includes: Perform Relearn procedure.]
    • AIR CLEANER ELEMENT – Remove & Clean/lube

    • Technician confirmed the noise and traced it to the top of the engine. Removed valve covers and found 1 bent pushrod, which is a good indication of a stuck lifter. Once torn down, he did find a collapsed lifter, but did not see any further damage inside. We replaced all lifters, pushrods, and rockers and the noise is now gone and the vehicle is running smooth.
