    • Upon inspection, found serpentine belt tensioner had come off. Pulled off alternator and the mounting bracket for the tensioner and alternator and found that the bolt for the tensioner was too short and did not thread in more than 2-3 threads. We cleaned up the threads and installed a longer bolt to correctly secure the tensioner to the engine/bracket. We also replaced the tensioner due to it making excessive noise when running. Head gasket test was normal, and no further issues have been found.
    • ALTERNATOR ASSEMBLY – Remove & Install – [Includes: Test.]
    • Remove alternator bracket and repair threads for the belt tensioner

    • Engine codes stored likely a result of faulty variable valve timing solenoids, which is a common failure on this vehicle. We replaced both solenoids and the codes did not return. The ABS/Trac/Stabilitrac lights are due to a fault in the EBCM (Electronic Brake Control Module). Troubleshooting indicates a software update "might" fix the problem, otherwise it will need to be replaced. We recommend the dealership to fix this problem.
    • VARIABLE VALVE TIMING SOLENOID – Remove & Replace – In-Line4 Both,Intake & Exhaust – [NOTE: Labor estimates listed are for R&R only and DOES NOT include diagnosis time.]
