Technician states low on coolant, reservoir is cracked, needs new one and re pressure test to verify any other leaks. Also purge valve is clicking very loudly, Recommend replacing. **Needs- Coolant tank/degas bottle – Purge Valve – After replacing Coolant tank, need to retest (Possible water pump leak and Tech wants to test Head Gaskets, but can't do with cracked tank. Technician States Coolant leak is good. Tech found worse noise as it was idling here, Lifters/ Valve Lash Adjuster noise, would need to pull valve cover to make sure engine isn't slugged up before replacing Valve Adjusters. Recommendations are All Valve Lash Adjusters, Valve Cover Gasket and BG Engine Flush.

After testing, technician found the coolant temp sensor was faulty. It would immediately show over 300 degrees on the scan tool when the key was turned on. He ran another test and found the sensor was continually grounded internally. The sensor was also leaking coolant. We replaced the coolant temp sensor and the vehicle is now starting and running normally and the cooling fan is not running full speed as it was before.
